Everest Park is one of the jewels in the City of Kirkland’s proud tradition of an inviting, beautifully maintained park system. Everest features four meticulously groomed Little League diamonds surrounded by trees in a quiet, neighborhood setting.
Other features include a picnic area, play area for young children, basketball court and adjacent tennis courts. The concession stand will of course be open for the series, supplemented by vendors selling food items, shirts, souvenirs and more.
Everest Park is less than a mile from Kirkland’s delightful downtown, featuring both fine and casual dining, shopping, art galleries and beautiful parks on Lake Washington. More information is available by following links from our Visitors page.
Junior Softball World Series fans enjoy the action from the tree-lined outfield of scenic Everest Park.

From Interstate 405, coming northbound or southbound: Take Exit 18 (NE 85th St. Kirkland/Redmond), and head westbound, toward Kirkland. At the very first light (it comes up quickly) turn left onto Kirkland Way. At the first bend in the road (just before you go under the railroad bridge) turn left onto Railroad Street. This will become 8th Avenue South. Everest Park will be on your left.
Parking will be extremely limited in the south lot (closest to the A and B fields). Please use the north lot; from there it’s a very short, easy walk to the fields.
Parking is strictly prohibited on any of the streets surrounding the park, and offenders are subject to ticketing and towing. Please respect our neighbors.
As always, admission is free. Everest Field, where the Junior League Softball World Series has been played every year since 1999, seats approximately 3,000. The terraces at Everest Field just beyond the outfield fence, which offer excellent viewing, can accommodate up to 1,000 more fans. No tickets are required for the Junior Softball World Series.
If you plan to watch the games from the terraced area at Everest Field, you may want to bring a blanket and/or lawn chairs.
A wide variety of food and refreshments is available at the concession stand, and Junior League World Series Souvenirs are available at the World Series souvenir stand. Pin Trading is encouraged in a special area set aside for this purpose.
For the safety and enjoyment of all who attend, the following items or activities are prohibited in the Everest Field Complex: alcohol, large tarps, coolers, large bags or large containers, pets, solicitation, fireworks, laser pointers, knives, and weapons of any kind. In keeping with the Little League tradition of teaching by example, all smoking and smokeless tobacco use is prohibited in the Everest Field stands, exit ways and rest rooms, as well as all buildings. The entire park is maintained by the City of Kirkland and is subject to city government codes. All items brought into the complex are subject to inspection. All blankets, chairs and personal items of any kind must be removed daily.
